Caregiver Support Group

Who Cares For You?

Being a caregiver is, no doubt, the most difficult job there is! Whether you’re caring for a parent, spouse, or a child with challenges, we’re here to offer support.

All too often, caregivers place themselves at the bottom of their to-do list, behavior that puts you at risk of caregiver burnout. Sound familiar? Practicing self-care and getting support from others who understand your experience can help energize you.

No matter how long you’ve been a caregiver, if your role was gradual or sudden, we’re here for you. On Friday, April 12th, we’re launching our Caregiver Support Group where caregivers can connect. Throughout this experience, we will provide insight into universal emotions experienced by caregivers and tips on practicing self-care.

Meet The Caregiver Support Group Facilitators

Before starting a family, Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. After many years as an educator, she enjoyed additional experiences in the educational sector while working in the fields of Public Relations and Information Technology at a well-known private school.

After a long and painful battle with infertility, her focus shifted to raising her son and helping him navigate through his elementary and middle school education. During that time, she continued to have the heart of an educator and became a Certified Advanced Life Coach and a Master Mental Health Coach through Light University. She founded Eden Tree Life Coaching in 2014. Laura is also a Maxwell Certified Leadership Team Life Coach and DISC trainer.

Laura cherishes time with her active teenage son and her husband, treasures visits with extended family and friends, enjoys reading and photography, and adores snuggling with her fur babies.

You Are Not Alone

During this experience, learn about common feelings experienced as a caregiver and how to cope with challenges. This is the perfect experience for people who don’t otherwise have anyone in their current social circle to relate to.

From near or far, we’re here to offer our support. With your help, we can expand the circle of support. This is a great opportunity not only for you to receive, but to also give support to other caregivers as well.

Our goal is to help you understand the importance of self-care and connect you with others to whom you can relate. Caregivers are a select group of people, and we want to offer our support so you can continue the excellent work you’re doing.

We Can’t Wait to Share with You on Friday, April 12th!
